211 Palm Beach/Treasure Coast is a community hotline providing free, 24-hour access to crisis intervention, information, assessment, referrals, and confidential telephone counseling services.
By simply dialing 2-1-1, callers are able to talk to caring, trained specialists who provide supportive counseling and/or community referrals.
People call 211 Palm Beach/Treasure Coast for many reasons. Some simply need a phone number to a community program, while others call because they are overwhelmed and desperately need to talk over a problem. Every call is different.
211 Palm Beach/Treasure Coast also offers suicide prevention and telephone crisis counseling. Every year, calls are received from hundreds of suicidal people and help is provided to prevent many needless deaths.
