211 Sunshine Daily Telephone Reassurance Volunteer
Sunshine is a free daily telephone reassurance program that is designed to check on the well-being of more than 400 homebound, disabled, and seniors living in our community. Volunteers make friendly phone calls from our office to check on the welfare of Sunshine clients.
211 Community Awareness Volunteers
Friendly, empathetic, non-judgmental teens are recruited from local high schools to educate their peers, provide fellow students with information on invaluable community resources and to promote the use of 211 as a problem solving tool.
