August 20, 2015- Calling all Superheroes! This will be the most action-packed, super-exciting and mega-thrilling bowling tournament on the face of the planet. Local business and agencies will be teaming up and grabbing their capes and masks along with WILD 95.5 tonight to unite super powers and bowl the night away to help save lives!

On hand will also be Jeffro’s Heroes who will come in handy because rumor has it that there will be an invasion of villains!

“This is just a fun and light hearted way to really make a difference…really impact someone’s life- this could even be someone you know, a friend, co-worker, a loved one!” Says Patrice Schroeder, Community Relations for 211.

211 HelpLine has been serving our community for over 44 years. The caring staff at 211 averages over 300 phone calls per day from people in need of essential services. Seven calls per day on average are from people who are in a suicidal crisis or are concerned about someone who is. Daily 211’s staff also receive an average of five calls that involve a rape crisis caller or victim of other crimes.

“The staff a 211 truly are heroes! They save lives every day and bring hope to callers of all ages and walks of life in need of help. This event is just our way of saying thanks and letting them know that we will support their continued efforts to serve the people in our community.” Says Susan Buza, Executive Director for 211 HelpLine.

As for the Superhero event: costumes are optional, but highly encouraged, as there will be a costume contest towards the end of the festivities. The evening will also include the latest hits with 13 year-old Alex Ariete DJ sensation just returning from Europe to help get your masked moves on with a light dinner buffet to sustain you as you bowl your support through the night. Come help us make a difference with your participation.
